Explore Defibtech Defibrillators

Since 1999, Defibtech has been one of the frontrunners in manufacturing high-quality, reliable defibrillators. The range consists of the Defibtech Lifeline, the Defibtech Lifeline View, and the Defibtech Lifeline ECG - each equipped with life-saving technology to support both trained and untrained responders.

Defibtech Lifeline

Semi-Automatic: A lightweight, self-contained AED with rubberised sides and a vibrant yellow design for easy identification and enhanced durability. Oversized buttons allow precise handling, with status indicators to complement voice instructions. If a shockable heart rhythm is detected, the Defibtech Lifeline instructs the user to press the orange shock button. .

Fully-Automatic: The Defibtech Lifeline Fully-Automatic AED works similarly to the Semi-Automatic version, but does not require the responder to press a button. The device automatically delivers a shock if advised during heart monitoring, making it suitable for environments where responders are less experienced or require additional support.

Defibtech Lifeline View

Semi-Automatic: The Defibtech Lifeline View Semi-Automatic AED features an interactive colour LCD screen for visual instructions during resuscitation. This provides additional support for untrained bystanders during a time-critical emergency, guiding them with calm, step-by-step prompts. The device monitors the heart rhythm, instructing the responder to press the orange shock button if advised.

Fully-Automatic: A fully-automatic version of the Defibtech Lifeline View, this AED requires minimal intervention from the user. If a shockable heart rhythm is detected, the Defibtech Lifeline View Fully-Automatic AED automatically delivers a shock to the casualty. Like the Semi-Automatic model, it features a colour display screen for precise CPR demonstration.

Defibtech Lifeline ECG

Semi-Automatic: Equipped with ECG monitoring, the Defibtech Lifeline ECG offers additional technology to enhance emergency response. This device offers both AED and ECG operation modes, allowing the user to switch between these as needed. A full-colour LCD screen provides CPR demonstrations, with a built-in metronome to facilitate high-quality chest compressions. As a semi-automatic AED, the device instructs the responder to press the shock button when a shockable heart rhythm is detected.

Overview of Pads and Batteries

Defibtech Lifeline AED Adult and Paediatric Pads: Single-use, pre-connected electrode pads compatible for use with the Defibtech Lifeline range. The pads are available in both Adult and Child packs, with a two-year expiry date and are encased in a secure foil packaging until ready for use.

Defibtech Lifeline View, ECG, and Pro Pads: Designed for use with more advanced models such as the Lifeline View and ECG models. These pads are also pre-connected for quick use in an emergency, with clear images on the packaging for correct pad placement.

Defibtech Lifeline 9v Lithium-Ion Battery: An important component for Defibtech Lifeline AEDs, the 9v battery powers the active status indicator to show responders the device is ready for use. The battery also enables the device to perform regular self-tests on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. It has a service length of 12 months, after which point a replacement is needed.

Defibtech Lifeline Battery Packs: Additional battery packs are available for the Defibtech Lifeline range. These offer a reliable back-up for when your current battery reaches its expiry.

Training Pads: Compatible with all Defibtech Lifeline AEDs for training purposes. These allow trainees of all levels to confidently practice pad placement and facilitate a realistic cardiac emergency to enhance confidence when responding to an SCA.

Defibtech Training Models

A training version of the Defibtech Lifeline AED, the Defibtech Lifeline AED Trainer Unit allows trainees to practice emergency response. The unit closely resembles features of the defibrillator, without electrification for safety. The Trainer Remote Control allows users to set their preferred volume and choose from a selection of different training scenarios.
