What are defibrillator training pads used for?
Defibrillator training pads are used to simulate real-life scenarios of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Unlike live pads, responders can practise proper placement, timing and technique. During Sudden Cardiac Arrest, every second counts. Practising with defibrillator training pads allows responders to become familiar with using a defibrillator, including how to correctly apply pads on adults and children.
Can I purchase accessories separately or do they come with iPAD defibrillators?
iPAD defibrillators at defibshop include electrode pads, a disposable battery or battery pack, a carry case, and 1x AED rescue kit. Additional accessories such as replacement pads, rechargeable battery options, wall mounts and training equipment can be purchased separately to ensure your defibrillator is always ready for immediate use.
