Is there a difference between the iPAD SP1 semi-automatic defibrillator and the fully-automative version?
With the iPAD SP1 Semi-Automatic defibrillator, the responder is instructed to press a single button if a shock is needed. With the iPAD SP1 Fully-Automatic defibrillator, the unit analyses the heart's rhythm and automatically administers shock if necessary after a verbal 3,2,1 countdown.
What qualifications will I gain from the TQUK Level 2 Award in CPR and AED Training course?
Students will gain a nationally recognised RQF accreditation from the 4-hour long course. After the session, learners will feel confident in their ability to administer CPR and use an AED effectively.
Who is most likely to purchase the iPAD SP1 Fully Automatic defibrillator?
Anybody can use the iPAD SP1 Fully Automatic defibrillator. The device is used by the NHS Ambulance Service, emergency services, public access programmes, neighbourhood initiatives, private businesses and individuals alike.
Is the CU Medical Systems iPAD SP1 Fully Automatic a low-maintenance defibrillator?
Yes. The unit performs several regular self-tests to ensure it is always in working order. Checking the device is easy and can be done by users of all abilities. If the iPAD SP1 picks up any errors during its self-testing routines, the circle on the unit will change to an ‘X’. The ‘i’ button will turn red and flash. To check the fault, click the button.
If you see a circle rather than an ‘X’, your defibrillator is operating correctly. We recommend checking your defibrillator at least once a week to ensure your defibrillator is always ready to use and provide owners with peace of mind.
