The battery pack is an essential cog in the defibrillator machine. Without an adequate power supply, a defibrillator is unable to provide life saving treatment after a person has suffered a cardiac arrest, so it is essential to ensure that your battery is always working.
The battery has a 5 year lifespan, and when the unit is in standby mode and at operable temperatures, will carry out daily, weekly and monthly self tests to ensure that it is always rescue ready.
- For use exclusively with the I-PAD SP1 defibrillator
- Battery provides a minimum of 200 shocks (150 joules)
- 5 year lifespan
- Simple click and replace procedure to install new battery
How to use
After the battery pack has been clipped to the back of the defibrillator and the unit is set to the standby mode, it will begin to regularly check the device to ensure that the AED is always rescue ready at all times.
The defibrillator will check the subsystems, hardware, software and the electrode pads to ensure that all the essential pieces of the unit are working correctly. This gives the user peace of mind that the defibrillator can be left unattended for long periods and still be ready to help save a life when the time comes.
