The Primedic HeartSave SavePads PreConnect are an essential piece of equipment when you’re looking to save the life of someone when using a Primedic defibrillator.
They are pre-connected by design, meaning that they should be connected when you receive them and they will be rescue ready when you need them. This saves time connecting the pads during the crucial minutes following a cardiac arrest and ensures the pads are connected and ready to be used.
Further benefits of having the pads pre-connected include the defibrillator regularly checking the pads to ensure they are in good operational condition daily. If there are any issues, the defibrillator will alert you of the problem so they can be replaced.

How to use
Once removed from the protective foil packaging and attached to the patient following the instructional images on the reverse of the electrodes, the pads will begin to analyse the heart of the patient and gather information.
The defibrillator will then use the data to decide whether treatment is the best option for the patient and will only allow that to happen if one of two conditions is present, ventricular fibrillation (VF) or ventricular tachycardia (VT).
