How long does the Primedic HeartSave Battery 6 Year battery last?

The Primedic HeartSave Battery 6 Year is a lithium battery with a shelf life of 6 years. Once expired, the defibrillator is not able to provide a lifesaving shock. HeartSave Y & YA defibrillators conduct daily self-checks to test for physical wear and expired batteries. If a problem occurs or the battery is expired, it will show in the status display. Regular checks of the battery and its expiration date ensure the defibrillator is always prepared for emergencies. 

Does the Primedic HeartSave 6 Year Battery require any special storage conditions? 

It’s recommended to store the Primedic HeartSave battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Before changing the battery, ensure the defibrillator is switched off. Place the defibrillator on a flat surface and insert the new battery into the compartment located underneath. The battery compartment can be opened using the release button. Once installed, allow the defibrillator to perform a self-check and confirm it’s ready for use.
