If you believe someone is in Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), you must act quickly and calmly. If you are not alone, ask your colleague to call for emergency medical assistance while you retrieve the Philips Heartstart HS1 Defibrillator. The three basic steps you must follow are;
One - For the use of the SMART Pads Cartridge, pull up the handle.
Two - Place the pads on the patient's bare skin.
Three - Press the flashing shock button if instructed.
How will employees locate the Philips Heartstart HS1 defibrillator?
Included in your Philips Heartstart HS1 Office Package is one AED Armor ‘workplace equipped with' window sticker, five AED Armor Defibrillator ‘This Way’ Left Arrow Wall Sign and five AED Armor Defibrillator ‘This Way’ Right Arrow Wall Signs.
These signs communicate your defibrillator's location, saving time and life. They are suitable for indoor use and can be placed on various walls and windows to highlight the presence and location of the defibrillator. For SCA treatment to be effective, it must occur within 3-5 minutes of the patient collapsing.
