What are the main features of the Physio-Control Lifepak CR2 USB Fully-Automatic Defibrillator?
To help users feel in control and confident in administering treatment, the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator employs simple displays, auditory instructions, and automatic features. The built-in CPR coach clearly instructs the user to perform CPR efficiently, eliminating confusion. When no CPR is detected, the LIFEPAK CR2 advises users to start CPR and uses a metronome to set an effective tempo. The device emits audible coaching for either an adult or a child through the resuscitation process.
CPR coaching not only improves overall CPR performance but also decreases the largest pauses in CPR, both of which have the greatest impact on lifesaving outcomes.
Who can use the Physio-Control Lifepak CR2 USB Fully-Automatic Defibrillator?
The simplistic design of the Physio-Control Lifepak CR2 USB Fully-Automatic Defibrillator means that anyone can operate the device to deliver life-saving treatment. No matter your experience, whether you’re trained or untrained, you will be able to confidently use the defibrillator thanks to its user-friendly design.
What is an IP rating?
The term ‘IP’ stands for Ingress Protection. The IP rating can inform you how well your AED is protected from dust or water. This is essential because these elements could potentially damage the defibrillator or cause it to become faulty. Two numbers represent IP ratings. The first number represents the AED's protection against substances such as dust. The second number indicates the level of protection the AED has against moisture. The higher the rating for an AED, the better the device is protected.
How often do I have to replace the pads?
The pads have a four-year shelf-life and must be replaced after that point. It is important to note that the pads are single-use only, and if used in an emergency, you must discard them properly and replace them with new ones.
