Who can receive treatment using the HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P Semi Automatic Office Package?
The HeartSine samaritan PAD is intended for use on unconscious or nonresponsive patients that are suspected to be in cardiac arrest. The Pad-Pak is a replaceable battery and electrode pack used by the HeartSine samaritan PAD.
The HeartSine samaritan PAD, in conjunction with an adult Pad-Pak, is appropriate for patients weighing more than 55 lb (25 kg) or the equivalent of an 8-year-old child or older. Remove the adult Pad-Pak and replace it with a Paediatric Pad-Pak for usage on younger children (ages 1 to 8).
