Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 Reusable Training Pads (Child)

For use exclusively with the Powerheart G5 AED Training Unit from Cardiac Science, the reusable paediatric training pads allow trainers to showcase the differences between defibrillator treatment on an adult and a child.

Whilst the differences are relatively slim, it’s still important to see how the defibrillator reacts to having paediatric pads attached and how the voice commands may alter. The diagrams on the electrodes will indicate an alternative way to attach the pads to the patient.

How to use

Working in exactly the same way as the adult training pads for the Powerheart G5 AED Training Unit, the paediatric pads offer learners the opportunity to get up close with a replica defibrillator in a child cardiac arrest training simulation.

The pads are designed in a way that they are as close to the real electrodes as possible, offering learners an unrivalled learning experience throughout their training. Clear and bold diagrams on the electrodes indicate where the pads should be placed in paediatric specific training scenarios, boosting confidence in a lifesaving situation.
