The battery is vital to the performance of the defibrillator. Along with providing the vital shock treatment required during emergency care of someone who has suffered a cardiac arrest, the battery also ensures that the unit can carry out vital self tests under the radar every day.

- Approximately 6.5-7 years shelf life / 300 shocks for use with AED/AUTO
- Spare 9V Lithium Battery included to power the Active Status indicator
- Lithium/Manganese Dioxide battery which is disposable and recyclable
