This battery pack has a standby life of 5 years and provides up to 17 hours of monitoring time.

- Insert the new battery, ensuring it slots fully into the compartment.
- Wait for the defibrillator to perform a self-test to confirm the battery’s status as ‘OK’.
- Return your LIFEPAK 1000 to its dedicated station or cabinet and make a note of pad/battery expiry dates.
- Dispose of the old battery in line with UK WEEE and battery recycling regulations. Most supermarkets, shops, and public buildings that sell batteries offer collection bins for used batteries. Alternatively, you can return the old battery to defibshop for safe recycling.
