ZOLL AED Plus Batteries (roll of 10)
ZOLL defibrillators use Duracell High Power Lithium batteries (size 123a), to keep the unit ready for use in an emergency.
High Power Lithium batteries have more power and last longer than standard batteries, though these will still need replacing at some point once the energy level is no longer sufficient to power your device.
- 1 roll of AED Plus batteries (roll of 10)
Ensuring your defibrillator has a sufficient power source is important so the unit can perform regular self-checks and operate smoothly when needed most. ZOLL defibrillators require 10 Duracell batteries in size 123a to work efficiently, which this replacement pack provides.
Features:
-
Batteries last 5 years
-
The defibrillator will prompt if the battery level is running low
How to Use
To replace your ZOLL AED’s batteries, follow these steps:
-
Insert 10 new batteries into the defibrillator. Connect the pads cable to the kit and pack the sealed pads under the cover. Make sure the cover is closed and then switch on the machine.
-
The defibrillator will give the audio message ‘unit OK’ and verify which pads have been connected (paediatric or adult). You should then switch off the defibrillator and wait for 2 minutes for the green tick symbol to appear in the status indicator window.
-
If the green tick is visible and the equipment is showing no signs of beeping, it’s ready to go.
The defibrillator will perform self checks regularly, but you can also check periodically that the green tick status indicator is showing for added peace of mind.
