How does the Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect Semi Automatic work?
The Semi-Automatic Primedic HeartSave myPAD delivers a shock to a casualty in Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) by instructing the responder to press a button. This happens after the heart rhythm analysis stage where a shockable heart rhythm is detected. After a shock is delivered, the responder is instructed to continue CPR efforts to restore a normal working heart rhythm.
