The Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect Fully Automatic is an alternative specification within the new HeartSave myPAD range. It presents the same features as the Core spec, with the addition of cellular connectivity. This allows Guardians to monitor the device closely and enable instant push notifications to alert them of any changes to its operational status, making it more straightforward to manage and maintain.
How does the Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect Fully Automatic differ from the Core model?
The Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect includes an additional remote device management feature, with LTE and WiFi compatibility. Aside from this, it offers the same features as the Core model, including a 4.3” colour LCD touchscreen, built-in CPR coaching, a child button, and up to 6 language options. It also features the same compact, lightweight profile for convenient handling and practicality across environments, from homes to community centres and other public spaces. What maintenance is required for the Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect Fully Automatic?
Like other models in the range, the Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect requires the following maintenance:
- Replacement pads – after each use or within the five-year expiry date printed on the packaging if left unused.
- Replacement battery – if using the non-rechargeable Primedic HeartSave myPAD battery (five-year expiry).
- Regular cleaning – both when used in an emergency and when left in storage, using a cloth, mild soap, and water (do not submerge).
- Annual servicing – our annual defibrillator servicing ensures top performance and operational readiness, with the help of a qualified technician.
How does the Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect Fully Automatic work?
The Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect uses fully-automatic functionality to deliver a shock automatically without delay in an emergency. This happens without the responder having to press a button and gauge when to deliver a shock, delivered as soon as an abnormal heart rhythm is detected. All the responder is required to do is apply the electrode pads to the casualty’s chest and deliver CPR when instructed to do so.

Anyone can use the Primedic HeartSave myPAD Connect Fully Automatic, with its user-friendly design and straightforward features. The touchscreen interface is convenient for all responders, with six language options catering to different nationalities (helpful in public, more diverse spaces). With the child button, responders are able to quickly adapt the device for use on children without the need for paediatric pads. This promotes faster response times in an emergency, saving valuable time to help maximise the chances of survival. Automatic shock delivery also makes it suitable for less experienced responders, without requiring them to judge when to deliver a shock independently.
