There seems little point investing in a defibrillator without getting the right level of training for your employees.

We are the experts in defibrillation and defibrillator training in the UK because we are the ONLY company that has training units from every manufacturer.

We train all our own trainers, that way we know they are fully educated in the details of every defibrillator they are expected to teach on. And every customer has a different defibrillator!

In a recent manufacturer’s survey, defibshop came out as the No 1 training provider, teaching more in-house AED training courses than any other company in the UK.

The reason for this…….is that we come to your business on a day that suits you and we only teach your staff on a training unit that is identical to the actual defibrillator you own.

The Resuscitation Council UK guidelines October 2010 now allow for "Short video/computer self-instruction courses, with minimal or no instructor coaching" to be part of a training program but they must be "combined with hands-on practice can be considered as an effective alternative to instructor-led BLS and AED courses."

Video based instruction alone is not guideline compliant and is not an acceptable alternative alone to instructor led practical training.

The Resuscitation Council also go onto state that all courses "should be validated to ensure that they achieve equivalent outcomes to instructor led courses"

Our course is independantly validated by the CPD certification service a nationally recognised accreditation body.

We believe inappropriate or lack of training could lead to confusion or poor response during an emergency leaving you and your company open to criticism or at worse loss of life.

Remember: We don’t do generic training which means we don’t teach your staff how to use a defibrillator you dont have! That wouldn't make sense would it?

We can do this because we own over 30 different training defibrillators.

Our training course exceeds the training guidelines from the UK Resuscitation Council because each attendee has to pass both a written and practical assessment before we award them a certificate.

We only ever teach 8 delegates on a course and each course lasts a maximum of 4 hours.

During the course our students will learn about:

• Heart conditions and treatment of an unconscious casualty

• Basic life support & CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation)

• UK Resusitation Council Guidelines

• Safe use of an AED

• Plus plenty of practice time learning how to safely operate the AED you have

No first aid experience is required to attend this course as our experienced trainers we will teach attendees everything they need to know on the day. Remember the defibs we sell are designed in such a way that anyone can use them, trained or untrained.

Certificates are valid for 12 months.
