When it comes to measuring your blood pressure, defibshop has picked some of the finest technology available so that you get accurate readings with as little hassle as possible.
We have added some great diagnostic equipment to the website recently, including ECG Machines to Capnography equipment; but blood pressure recorders are perhaps one of the simplest, yet one of the most important pieces of equipment.
When are they used?
Blood pressure recorders let you check for abnormal blood pressure. This is often a symptom of prehypertension, diabetes or kidney problems, so it's useful to have tool outside of the hospital to check yourself.
They can also be used as a key way of tracking your treatment away from the hospital. They provide key information for your next visit to the doctor and are the only way to monitor if changes to your lifestyle have improved your blood pressure.
One of the top blood pressure recorders is the BR-102 and we think this nifty piece of kit will not only adhere to your needs, but exceed them. It combines two measurement techniques, namely the auscultary and the ocillometric together to provide reliable and efficient readings every time.
Further to this, the cuff will only inflate as much as necessary. This means that you are comfortable during the process and it is almost impossible to feel or hear the BR-102 in action. And because you’re comfortable using the machine, it reinforces the accurate and reliable readings that you require.
We have also stocked five different sizes of cuffs so that you get the one that fits you precisely — from extra small to extra large.
If you have some unanswered questions regarding the equipment, our friendly defibshop team are on hand from Monday to Thursday 8am – 6pm and Fridays 8.30am – 5pm on our Freephone number 0800 470 4847.
