The Zoll AED Plus is the only AED on the market which offers a full rescue capability providing the rescuer with feedback to assist in CPR and is aimed at both basic life support users and healthcare professionals trained in advance life support  

The Zoll AED Plus is easily distinguishable by its lime green colour and use of a single electrode rather than two            

Ease of Use 

The unit has the option of two different front panels, one pictural which describes each stage of the rescue including CPR the other professional has only a shcok button.

Both panels have an LCD panel which provide text prompts, an ECG trace, total shocks, elapsed time and a CPR compression bar which is used with the unique CPR D padz for monitoring the timing and depth of Chest Compressions 

The hard cover of the case is designed to be placed under the shoulders of a casualty during resuscitation to help maintain an open airway.

The Pads are pre connected (adult or paediatric) and ready for use, Standard electrode pads are available as well as the unique CPR D padz 

Another unique feature of the Zoll AED Plus is its power source. The unit uses ten standard photo 3V 1.3Ah Lithium Manganese Dioxide batteries which can deliver up to 300 shocks or 13 hours of continuous monitoring. These are available from most retail outlets and do not have to be purchased from the manufacturer 

Upon pressing the shock button the unit delivers a rectilinear biphasic waveform with default settings of 120, 150, 200 J (Adult) and 50, 70, 85 J (Paediatric) 

Upto 7 hours of of data can be recorded internally without voice recording or 20 minutes with voice recording and the data can be downloaded to a PC via an infrared port for analysis 

The unit performs four different self test routines: power-on, battery renewal, automatic and manual AED Includes Includes LCD display showing voice prompt messages, device advisory messages, elapsed time, shock count and chest compression graph display. Configurable to display ECG.
