Welch Allyn AED 10 semi automatic defibrillator is ideally suited for portable use and is aimed at basic life support users. 

Using a straightforward and proven "1-2-3" rescue approach. The AED 10 promotes a quick, no hesitation response when SCA strikes. Because when SCA occurs, every second counts.

Ease of Use.

 Step 1, Press the large green ON button.

 Step 2, Voice and text prompts guide the first responder through the rescue from beginning to end. Colour-coded pads with illustrations simplify pad placement. 

Step 3, Deliver treatment if necessary. 

Text prompts are displayed on a small backlit LCD panel which displays shock counter, elapsed time and battery level. 

The Welch Allyn AED 10 performs weekly self tests to ensure readiness and continuously monitors battery status. The unit is powered by a non-rechargeable lithium manganese dioxide battery which is capable of delivering 90 shocks. The default energy protocol is 200, 300, 360 J (adult) and 35, 35, 50 J (paediatric) These settings can be configured to suit user preference. 

The internal 1 MB of memory can store up to 250 4 second ECG samples or 3,000 time-stamped events. This data can be transferred using an infrared port to a PC using Welch Allyns Smartlink software.
