Cardiaid® is the latest generation of automated external defibrillator (AED) device designed to be used by standard first aiders or bystanders in the first vital minutes of an SCA before the emergency services are able to attend.

Ease of Use

• Simple & safe to use - Cardiaid® analyses a patient’s heart rhythm and will only deliver a shock if one is needed. The unit guides the user through the correct ILCOR resuscitation procedure (including metronomic CPR guidance) using clear pictorial and verbal instructions.

• Effective - This device uses the leading detection algorithm and treatment method for SCA – Cardiaid determines the electrical impedance of each patient and customises and escalates the level of energy delivered using a biphasic waveform.

• Stylish- Its good looks allow the Cardiaid® to be placed in a publically accessible position without detriment to its setting, however stylish, designed or clinical that environment might be. Its quality of manufacture and daily self-test means that the Cardiaid® can be relied on to be ready for action should it ever be needed.

Cardiaid® is powered by a long life (2 year) battery that requires no power supply or re-charging. The product is covered by a ‘no-quibble’ 6 Year Warranty provided it receives recommended use and maintenance.
